Inflating two double air beds by hand is getting too much for my old body. So I want to get an electric pump. We have EHU but would like to be able to pump fromthe car battery if needed.
Just tried Tesco's one for £15. Its rubbish: after 10 minutes running it from the mains one airbed still not useable and the back pressure was too much - no better after 30 minutes.
Anyone know of a good pump for airbeds?

Hi,
just bought the Aldi yellow one for a fiver. Only mains, not battery, and it sounds like a jet engine, but it also pumps up the air bed like one. Rock hard in a few minutes.

We bought the Tesco one for £7 and they can inflate an airbed in about 2 minutes (just take the large stopper out and connect to biggest adapter)

Coleman do one for about £12.99
Had ours for just over a year, belts out a lot of air very quickly and doesn't suffer from back pressure (as most battery one do).
Our version is 12v only, but I'm pretty sure that they do one with a mains connector too.

We bought one from ebay for a fiver - Its brilliant, inflates the Coleman comforts in a fraction over a minute. We use it to deflate the beds too!

I got the aldi yellow one too and would vote for that!
They also do a little red one that runs off the cigarette lighters in cars
