 Hi.

i have booked a weekend away and looking on the campsites web page it states that no external gas bottles are allowed as my fc only has bottle clamps on the front which when putting bottle on means i cannot open the fc, so bottle will have to be positioned else where.

Could putting it in the awning and running a longer pipe from bottle mean it is not external.

phone them and tell them what size bottle it is, explain that you don't have a gas locker, and you should be ok.

Usually they won't take large bottles that are too big for gas lockers in caravans, so are left unsafely outside, and can be knocked over.

I have seen 19kg propane bottles outside caravans, and even a 47kg bottle ouside one caravan. It looks a mess as well.
