Has any one ever got it back in the box with the legs? I mean it came in the box, that much I am sure, of but some how the legs are bigger than the box

You're missing the point his birthday is NEXT friday. What do I do wrap it?and produce the legs fromn behind the the settee when he isn't looking or have a square parcel with a lump sticking out?

You could always put it up, and then drape wrapping paper over / around it! That would be fun, but keeping it hidden would be tricky... I've had mine for a couple of years and the box was thrown out straight away, but they must fit back in somehow??

I would assemble it & put a bow on it. If you want to add mystery you could blindfold him!
If you are lucky he may want to start cooking straight away so make sure you have a gas bottle & regulator handy - wouldn't want to disappoint him. don't forget the steaks!
Might just give up and assemble it and put a bow on top of the "free cover" I can't fit the legs in even with out the cadac in box! We planned to camp and I was going to smuggle it into the car. Are they water proof?????????????????

(Don't know what I'm laughing at we have just received our new one and we can't get out legs back in the box, either!)
Jan if you put it up ,say in the garage or shed and wrap up some burgers or sausages and give them to him if he ask whats going on tell him he has to find it before he can use it,what ever it may be that will get his brain working overtime.
Jase John doesn't have a brain! Anyway riverside leisure kindly sent him an email saying it had been despatched!!!! so the cadac is out of the bag now anyway!
