   I used to get the "Camping" magazine, which along with the "Camping & Caravan Club" monthly magazine, used to be worth reading... The "Camping" magazine isn't anywhere near as good as it once was and the "C.& C.C." magazine pays no more than 'lip service' to tent campers...

   So, I now rely on U.K.C.S. for my 'updates' on what's new and what's happening in the camping world. I find the news is more immediate and the reviews, advice, links and comments from 'Joe (and Joanne) Public' are better and usually more honest too!... Andy...

Hi Candy Floss

Its the one with a view of fields in the Dales with a drystone wall in the foreground and a tent in the distance. It says "This is why we go camping". It was taken at Howgill Lodge Campsite near Bolton Abbey during May half term. Every pitch has a lovely view because the site is terraced down a hill. Not had my prize yet but I guess it will be several weeks going by this thread.

Well done had a look this morning before work - one hell of a view from a camping pitch - hope you get your gift soon - i also noticed a way to get another gift - take a photo of you with the gift and send it in and therefore you get another - thats what that woman did who won the aztec tent !! clever !!
