The saga goes on, it turns out the fridge I have aquired is a 12v or gas operated only, this fridge has no wires in which to operate it for 12v, I would love some advice as to how to get it to operate. Can I just attach any old wire with a plug and then use a 12v transformer,. the wife and I are hoping to go away for a week soon and a frdige would be really useful, if anyone can help I'd apprecoiate it!
As far as i know you only run a fridge on 12 volts when towing ( tow car supplying the 12 volts ) , and when running 12 volts there is no thermostat control ( ie it would be running a full pelt all the time ) . You'd probably be better off getting it working on gas ( make sure you have the installation checked ) .
Hi, It's the RM 122 and as far as I can see there are no wires attached to it, it's brand new still in the packaging but fairly old as it's been in a garage for years, any advice would be great, cheers! Jonathan
