mine came very quickly but get it done today !!
I went for plastic and they are fine - I assume that the metal ones are for where the ground is harder, rockier etc

I have a mixed set, mostly plastic but a few steel, incase of harder ground, but find the plastic ones work in most conditions. One point I noticed, in my novice days (quite recent then !) I pulled out a steel delta using the guy rope (yes, yes, I know - now !) and the steel delta just cut right through it - so be careful out there !

Please could somebody advise me how many Deltas I should get for my Monty 6. I am getting the nylon ones. Somehow I don't think there is much hard ground around at the moment!

For a tunnel tent get 2 for every "hoop" so that you can peg the guys out on the poles to each side using deltas - that is wha we do with our Vango quest 600 and it is rock solid!
