hiya all, just got back from a great 4 night stay at the flower of may site in filey (good review to be posted soon).when we were taking our campus breckenridge down i noticed a tiny hole on one of the inner tent pole sleeves.the inner tent is made of breathable polyester and was wondering if anyone could advise on the best way to patch it up.were still novices and havnt had to do any repairs yet and weve got to get it fixed by the bank holiday as were off to aberystwyth for 4 nights.........cheers
I am 33 but spent most of my childhood camping at the flower of may so you made me very nostalgic :) We even went when I was 10 and my mum was heavily pregnant with my brother.
to be honest i cant find mine ???? but i dont think it will matter . keep it with you because its good stuff and you never know when you may need it.i do know instructions come with it.have a search on here for tenaciouse tape
Gee thanks for that info!! Our awning has a couple of little pin prick holes in, and I didnt want to pay a fortune to have it repaired- as we are trying to hang on and buy a new one for next season.
We ended up with a big tear after whitsun bank hol, and have repaired it with Tenacious Tape, it worked brilliantly. We have used the tent since in a big downpour (all night) and not a leak at all.
And you can hardly see the tape once the repair is done!
