 hihas any body use one of these and cud u attach clips so u cud use it from a battery in the tent like  sum off our pearents use to when camping,we use to run lights etc thanks

you don't need to have an 800w inverter. I'm not sure if what you are asking will work, but what I can tell you is you only need an inverter to be as powerfull as what your are trying to run. For example I use an 150w inverter to power the 110w pumps for my bed. Most portable items run less than 150w, you may have something that needs a bit more than 150w but I expect it's no where near 800w.
