We had a electric cool box that was great and did a good job but often had water in the botton. We just bought a new towsure fridge 36 litre electric chest or upright type. We still seem to have water in the bottom. Am I missing something?

do you leave it on all the time while camping ? or do you switch it off at night ? if so its ice melting

oh I do sometimes switch it off especially if I need a plug. If i leave it on permanently will it stop?

All fridges create condensation. Domestic fridges have a collection point at the back to remove the condensation.

I don't know if your towsure fridge has a drain point ? if not you will have to wipe it.

Its all to do with the items you are putting in are at a different temperature than the fridge or something like that.

I'm sure someone will correct me

ours does that, usually just wipe it with a paper towel once a day.

My three way fridge does that too. I blame it on the number of warm beers that Hubby puts in it every day...non-stop traffic, really.
