Hi,
only place i've seen the old traditional type/size toilet tents is my local camping shop. I agree with you about the utility tents being bit big, camping shop had old-style ones but they were about £35 which seemed bit expensive?!
It may pay you to investigate local/small camping shops or ask them if they can order you one from somewhere. Alternatively, go for a bigger one and fit in a jacuzi too!! (you'll be the envy of everyone else on site - or they'll think you're barking mad!)

You've lost me on this.
I just can't imagine why you would you want a sig in a toilet tent?

we use one of these slighty bigger than most toilet tents we looked at without being over big, plus it has a toilet roll holder built in!
downside for you is, it dont have a sig but might be of interest

Yep. We have a bucket with lid in the rainsaver porch of our Montana (alas no room for a portaloo in car). We don't use the groundsheet at all in the porch so if the boys miss it just goes on the grass!------------- Michelle

I would have thought a sig in a toilent tent would be a very bad idea. What about little accidents?

Utility tents make great toilet / Shower tents more room to maneuver and can be used for storage. Classic toilet tents small ( don't try turning round in one ) dark ( that's why no sig ) and not vented. Not the most pleasant placed to be.------------- Yesterday is already a dream and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.

well the real reason is not just as a toilet tent, more for other things realy but thought it wud fit nicely in between pods on the outside that way it wont take any more room,if that makes sense .the lady in the next tent to us had a couple of them last week one she used to put a folding wardrobe ,to hang all there clothes(not so sure about that tho) and the other she had a little wash stand in for the dishes so she washed her pots etc left them on the drainer and ziped it up.but the main reason i thought of was my kids take there little fold up scooters and thought this wud be something small and light enough to put up that would keep them dry realy and also stop anyone spotting them if we leave them unetended.

In that case make a bathtub groundsheet for it. It shouldn't be too hard with a bit of stick on velcro and a bit of pvc.

Why not just put them inside the tent? You often have to pay two or three pounds extra per night for auxilliary tents, and while that`s bearable for the huge advantage of a kitchen tent (almost) it`s a bit expensive for scooter parking. Cheap picnic rug in the porch would be much easier to pack as well.

We just put bikes scooters in car overnight or bikes in tent whilst we are out. Scooters fold up and stay in boot.

We have a Sunncamp Cubicle as a shower/toilet tent, it's got a bathtub groundsheet that clips in it (not that we've ever used it!).
The tent is third down on the Outdoor Megastore page.
As said though, with a big tent like you've got I wouldn't necessarily want to pitch anything else. ------------- Piglet
