I have got a Vango Venture 500 tent and was thinking about buying their large sun canopy for somewhere to cook when the weather isn't that good.  Has anyone got one of these?  Is it stable in windy conditions?  Thanks a lot in advance.

I have one for my Diablo - they are very roomy and sturdy in pretty high winds.

Will they fit a Venture? There`s a list of tents the two current canopies will fit on the Vango website, and they`re all big tents with porches. I can`t see why they wouldn`t fit, given that the canopy sort of tucks in behind the porch pole, but it might be worth checking with Vango before you buy.

I e-mailed vango a few months ago about having a canopy for our venture 500 and they replied that it was not suitable for this tent. Has anyone tried the canopy with this tent?

I used my large vango sun canopy on my venture 500 at Bagwell the past weekend and it withstood a good windy battering but this weekend I am going to try locating it behind the centre roof bar as on the 1st pole it left large gaps which let the rain howl through.

Hi funnily enough I got an email reply from Vango this afternoon telling me that the Sun Canopy was not compatible with my Venture 600DLX either.   So.... it is do-able then is it?.. very interesting.
