Can anyone recomend camp lighting for in the tent? We're thinking of getting an EHU, are you allowed to leave these plugged in all night? I've been told the campingaz lanterns are good and reading some threads on here the wind up lanterns/torch thing should be avoided at all costs!
PS - are EHU's weatherproof??
Any advice welcome!!! Thank you.
------------- Canvas - paint on it or sleep under it....
For out last camp I got a UFO light. I got mine from my local camp shop but people on here are picking them up from the £1.00 shop. The have varying amounts of LCD light on. My has quite a few but I don't have to have them all on.
We did buy a rechargeable light (quite expensive) when we started out but this doesnt give enough light off and we were using head torches as well.
Without EHU we manage with a campinggaz lantern until we get into bed, then each have a LIDL wind up torch for reading - work REALLY well, much better than the others that we bought elsewhere, course they aren't available all the time! In the TT when we have the EHU we have a... table lamp (!) yes really... and same old wind ups for reading in the sleeping bags! J
