Hmmmm interesting question...... putting aside the obvious (tent, sleeping bag, cooker etc) i think it would be:

Knive /fork/spoon set

turbo lighter

ear plugs

Hanging toiletries bag

10 year old single malt

travel guitar

MP3 player with mini speakers

And......my lovely OH (It's his birthday today, so I am feeling all affectionate and could not leave him out!)

After reading this lot my original list of 10 is now 86 !!   So its back to the drawing board with a glass of Vino mucho collapso.  Maybe I need to do a list of lists, wine list, spirit list, food list, fine food list, fine fine food list, things that make life bearable list and so on.Then refine it by saying you can only list what you can carry !!!
