Omni's need good signal strength to get digital, standard hi gain with collapsable pole will get best signal, setup is a matter of pointing in the right direction, most times someone will already be on site with an aerial pointing in the right direction to copy.
I would agree with AndyVines. We started out using the omni fitted to the van, but found it was poor most of the time. Now changed to a directional on a pole clamped to the side of the van. Great picture with digital most of the time. You will always get some areas with poor reception, but that goes with the territory if you head off to remote areas to enjoy the countryside.

we did just that when we moved house copied everyone else and didnt get a bean everybody else is on a different transmitter and they must watch anologue
dont go for a digitl log or yagi type as they are very direction sensitive go for a standard high gain twig from somewhere like screwfix
the predictor is a little strange ,entering my postcode it lists whitehaven 243 miles away and suggests a set top arial ,i wouldnt like to live near that transmitter it must be frying everyone in sight
