I bought one from Maplin and timed it badly. The price went up to £100 for a few weeks. Guess when I bought mine. Fortunately, I am very pleased with it and even at £100 I think it was a good buy.

do they come with a mounting kit or can you leave it in the suitcase and point it at the satelite

Looking at the description you only need a TV and a connection for the power (12v or 230V). It will only receive non subscription channels as you would need a skybox to watch Sky Sports/Movies.

If you use Astra satelite you get all the free view channels, its advantage over digital which is via your ariel is you can pick up tv anywhere in the country. its disadvantage is pixalation in bad weather ie when the dish gets wet. of course if you speak other languages you have many more rubbish tv programs to watch
