Just found this and I'm thinking of buying myself a christmas pressie as I think this'll be ideal for camping.  Just wondered what anyone else thought before I get it.  Also this may be a daft question but am I right in assuming that the AV cable that comes with it means I can connect it to a bigger arial if need be?

Thanks

Cannot help on the unit as i have not seen.

AV lead is for connecting to another TV. Difficult to say without seeing the accesories on a bigger picture but would imagine it will come with an AE (standard aeriel) socket as it says it is capable of connecting an amplifier or outside aerial. Would think that on its own aeriel you would get limited reception unless in a high quality reception area, having said that a guy was using one in a burger van on Skegness beach in October and he had perfect reception.

Very few on the market at the moment so not a lot of choice but it looks a fair price.

Hi,  Thanks for your reply.  As it comes with a small arial I'll probably get a bigger arial for outside my folding camper for areas where the reception isn't so good.

I think it seems a good price so I thing it'll be winging it's way to me soon.  Gives me a chance to have a good play with it before the camping season!
