The Whale system in my caravan is driving me mad, it always seems so inconsistent and temporamental. I have the microswitched system with a submersible pump. I have a spare pump and they both perform the same, sometimes a decent flow (rarely), sometimes a trickle and more often than not nothing.

I suppose it could be the battery as I don't really charge it up that much, it charges on the car and then when I hook up. But if I'm on hook up should'nt that be ok, the lights and stuff work alright.

Does anyone else experience problems, are there things I could look at?

I would appreciate any help.

Do you have good flow from the cold tap ?
Maybe a leak somewhere ? check under the tap .
Broken tap ?
Blocked water filter ?
Do you have a Carver Cascade water heater ? if you do there's a good chance that the non return valve is faulty , and the pumped water is draining back into the barrel .

hi, have you checked all that the wizard has asked as this sound to be a very restricted system at some point.
