I have been considering buying a sleeping bag that you can walk in. The Lippi Selk Bag. 250They are a bit pricey but before I buy I wonder if anyone out there has personal experience of one and consider it money well spent.

Looking forward to replies. Thanks.

Tina+Duncs,

Sorry can`t help you never heard of them. Are they for sleep walkers or just passion killers?

There has been a review on this site, and also at least one discussion, so try doing a search.

I agree with clegg about them being passion killers though..............

Not really designed for walking about in, more for having movement when you are sleeping and not being confined to a normal sleeping bag shape.

Cheers
Ian

I bought one and was quite excited but just used it this weekend and I was very cold, did not keep me warm and i bought the middle range one which was supposed to keep you warm to -8, certainly was not that in Norfolk during the may bank holiday. Thankfully i did take my normal bag and was fine in that. I have emailed them for a refund, hope they are accomodating or there might be one going cheap as only slept in it for 2 hours. They are not designed for walking in although you could easily sit in it and walk a little, but my idea of walking to the loo in it during the night was a little optimistic, so all in all very disappointed.

As above really, one of my mates had one as a prezzy, but it did'nt keep him warm and he was glad he took a sleeping bag also.
