Anybody recommend a really warm sleeping bag. We camp from now until about September/early October. So it has to be a 3/4 season bag, I really feel the cold. Anybody seen any good offers on bags anywhere.

For warmth and comfort, nothing beats a down sleeping bag. I know they're very expensive, but a decent one will last you a lifetime, as opposed to synthetic bags, which loose 'loft' and warmth after a few years. They aren't easy to clean, but use a liner, and all you'll have to do is air it. The bags 'Alpkit' do look like brilliant value. Otherwise, Rab make great bags, but at a price!
