I have looked through the message boards but not fiound what I'm looking for; I could have missed it

I keep my caravan at the side of my house.

I want to connect mains electric to my caravan via a lead.

Is it possible to buy a cable with a standard 3 pin electric plug on one end and the plug into the caravan on the other.

I just want to 'air' and warm up the van prior to going away.

Are there any problems doing this?

we have an outlet that lets you plug your hook up lead to the house electrics "as is" but its not waterproof as the lidded versions ,its meant for in a garage etc from these sellers

i fitted an outside socket right next to my van was easy to do as i had a plug socket on the inside wall so just drilled through and wired it up off of that took me 25 mins and made life alot easier

We have the one you plug into the house socket its fab for when I bring my caravan home to clean it. I've certainly not found any problem with mine.

I fitted a proper 16A ceeform, same as site hookups, no problems.
