Oh and does anyone know if there is a non-stick cookset that includea a kettle? I can find an aluminium outwell one but would prefer non stick if poss?

Cheers for any advice,

Whats wrong with the Outwell Excellent beds? I've heard the coleman's are good, but i've not seen anyone talk of personal experience regarding the Outwell Excellent beds. They certainly look good, which ain't saying anything of course!

I think we are going to buy and a Coleman Comfort. The reviews we've read are excellent and they seem to be the air bed of choice on UKCS.

My sister has just bought an Aerobed Active. They also have a good right up but are a bit pricey though.

mme- the coleman is coming out trumps then? It certainly seems to make more sense with the 2 compartments..... found a thread on back problems and airbeds which recomended a memory foam cover- sounds nice but a bit pricy

The Outwell Excellent Air beds are just brilliant ! We have 2 singles. They have never gone down and are really comfy. Plus they are a bit longer than some others which OH really appreciated as he hated his feet hanging over the end as with previous air beds. And as stated in numerous other threads - it's the only thing I miss about camping   !

At £79 they're not a cheap investment though - same as our small tent cost! Our Coleman Comfort Maxi Double cost £30 less than this even with postage from Germany and even then my OH thought that it was more than he really wanted to pay (although it was his height that meant we needed the Maxi)!

For years I used an ordinary cheapo airbed which was adequate but never really comfortable. Usually by the morning I found myself more or less sleeping on the ground because the thinnish airbed had deflated so much. I therefore bought a self-inflating camping mat (cheapish one) and at first thought it was better...certainly warmer, but still uncomfortable.

So, I have just splashed out on the Outwell Excellent here

I pumped it up at home and couldn't believe the difference. It is not classed as a double height airbed but it must be twice the height of an ordinary flocked airbed, and so comfortable, and because of the height it can be pumped hard or soft without your backside touching the ground. It is also slightly wider and longer than the typical airbed so plenty of room.

The single is £19.99 and the double version is £24.99. I have not tried it for real yet but I am certainly expecting good results.

We got a Restform Aerobed 9 years ago it is triple height, as my wife is disabled and cannot get up and down easily. As it was for use in caravan awning it didn't matter. We found that by putting the silver underlay for laminate floors underneath we didn't feel the cold. It is still perfect today and goes away with us in the F C [ just in case it is warm enough to sleep in the awning] makes us feel like real? campers? LOL

If  i remember rightly we paid £120, for it back then but it has been beautiful and has had lots of use both camping and in the house for sleepovers.

unfortunately it can't be used in tent because of its height.

We used a colemann last year for the first time the double height queen version and it burst after 2 weeks !!!

This year we are going for the Outwell excellent king size and we will see how that works out...It seems to be a good bed but only time will tell...
