Thanks for that link...I've been hoping that the camping week would come along soon.

I can recommend these £7.99 lamps if they're the same as the Osram ones they sold last year. Very good light for a battery lamp and not too greedy on the batteries.

I'm also going to have a look at that cheap charcoal barbecue. I want a small charcoal one and if this one has removable legs then it looks just the thing.

i love my lidl and aldis bargain days :O) even if i just dont buy anything and watch the loons arguning over something that they saw first!!

By the time we get there after work all the interesting stuff has gone. we wanted one of their LED lightsticks a few weeks ago - gone. Ended up buying a £30 Black and Decker one.

We got one from there last year, think it was the same price, if it's the same one it's been great.

 Has anyone had one of the portable satelite receivers from them, as I a mtihnking about getting for when we go to France.

There is a seperate blog just about the cool boxes - there are great - they even have a built in mains plug so no pricey adaptor needed

but they are flying

I bought the sat receiver last week. Not used it in France but it's working great in the Hope Valley!
