Well we are just starting out with our caravan this year and think we should clean our aqua roll, does anybody have an idea what we should be using to clean this, we think we may have read somewhere that you can use Steradent, can someone confirm this please.
Im a fan of milton, i used it when we first bought the aqua roll. Have continued to use it at the start of each season, sometimes just give it a quick soak to give me peace of mind that its clean.
Hi Moplatt, I think if you put "aquaroll" into the site search this is well covered. I'm happy to use milton or steradent because I NEVER use the 'vans water for drinking and those that do need a re-think in my humble opinion. Its no hardship to fill a container on site and avoid running it through the system.
I think that's a very good idea stabiliser, after all it's very hard to see what is inside an aquaroll. I think I'll buy a clear water container , at least you can see if it's clean or not. But I'll still use Milton.

we use milton,asda do there own which is the same stuff,fill container to the top and add half a cup if its a 40lt size.do not forget the filler pipe too.if you brew your own you can use the same cleaner as for the bottlesand kegs.

Remember to really rinse the system out well otherwise you will smell and taste Milton ... not nice...
We do use the aqua roll water for cooking and boiling for hot drinks but for squashes and just drinking water we tend to fill bottles from the tap as it can taste plasticky especially if its been in the sun.
If you really want to go up market you can buy supermarket own label value mineral water (Morrisons 19p for 2L) but think of the weight you will haul around with you.
