Different folks have different preferences and budgets.
I struggled for ages with blow up mattress until I found self inflating mats. I went for comfy too, with a therma-rest dreamtime which is like sleeping in my bed at home. here Other people prefer the cheaper airic mats here
Some use mats on top of a camping bed frame.
The design of blow ups have improved apparently but I won't trust them again, got sick of waking up on the cold floor.
