if anyone is looking for heat beads for their cobbs etc Homebase are selling them. A 4kg bag of australian heat beads for £4.49 brought 2 bags of them today.

Went to Homebase today and no sign of them. They suggested I tried Tesco. Could only find charcoal, which guessing is not what I want or lava rock. Are they actually called heat beads or do they have another name?

we tried homebase in chesterfield and the manager had never heard of them, seen them at matlock garden centre (for all this way that needs them)

they where called heat beads £4.99 4kg

They sell them at the Scotdales garden centre in Great Shelford, for anyone in the Cambridge area. Last year they did some 7kg bags too, though they only have the 4kg bags in right now.
