Hi all

Just got back from a good weekend camping at Bagwell Farm Weymouth and had a good test of my new Cadac Safair BBQ. I have the one with screw on gas canisters which I wanted for more convienence. I originally had a Sunngas canister connected to it but it seemed to take an age to cook anything. The next day I connected a different make of cannister called a GoSystem Gas and found it cooked much more quicker, in fact I had to turn it down!

I had read that some people commented on the safari being rather slow to cook with and was wondering if different makes of gas canisters were better than others? I know that these screw on canisters are a propane/butane mix but perhaps some makes vary in their mix ratio.

I have ordered some Cadac canisters to so I will try them out when I recieve them.

mmmm so no replies yet

If there are Safair users out there reading this then what make of gas do you use and how do you find it for cooking, does it cook quick, slow, normal?

Would be interested in your views
