Got mine hanging from the rafters in the garage, rigged up a pulley system with washing-line rope. Just drop the 2 ropes down, put the box into the 2 loops and hoist away until it`s right up against the rafters then tie off

Mine sits on its nose in the garage and has been all ok. I put the roof bars and feet inside it to stop them getting lost.
Have seen advert on TV today for a half price sale at Halfords on roof boxes.
Ours sits in the garden : ( but it was very old when we got it and it is only plastic. Just have to wait and see if the new roof bar fittings fit my old roof bars now....

I bought one form Aldi on Thursday and was very disapointed to get it home to discover it did not fit on my Picasso.It was too small.
You could try putting the brackets through the roofbox (the ones that attach to the roofbars) then use them to rope it or hook it on the shed wall. That way you won't have all the weight on the one end of the box.
But if it's a sturdy enough box it shouldn't go out of shape even if it is sitting on one end. Not if you rotate it every week!
