It looked really small, boiled it a few times, doesn't take long and only 1000 watts and holds nearly 2 pints (0.9 litres). Really pleased with it.

It's a Lloytron travel kettle. It has two little plastic cups inside, doubt I'll use them, prefer a great big mug! It fills two big mugs with ease.

£11 from Ebay:-)

Didn't want to take a household kettle with me, van's too small for big items. Can't fill a household one directly from the little tap in sink either. As it's more or less square and not round, should pack into a small space very easily!

does water taste different boiled on gas?

I know chips taste different cooked on gas, but never thought about water
