Mine would have to be my LED headlight. I truly don't know how I managed without it. To be able to use both hands to fix, find and adjust things in the dark is a joy, and when we blown to bits last year it would have been even more traumatic if we hadn't been able to see what we were doing. Handy when picking up after the dogs, too, and much better for reading by than thos daft booklights that eat battereis and need to be removed every time you want to turn the page.
My earplugs are my next most useful, I'd be a very grumpy and sleep-deprived camper without them.
I have the bbq top thingy that Sonja.p has and I nearly got rid of it, glad I didn't,wicked with the portable gas cooker,.BUT my item doesn't qualify as a purchase lol ! And that is... My Husband ! because he.. helps me put the tent up, does the washing up (never does it at home) entertains our daughter and he does the driving lol !!

Our single-burner stove and the griddle - Hubby cooks the most fantastic full breakfasts (brunch, really) on it, and I don't have to do a thing!! It's wonderful to get out of bed and not have to start cooking breakfast - bliss!!
Well thats what we call it anyway, it is a disc shaped lamp that can be hooked on the top of the tent and gives great light. Batteries last for ever no heavy lanterns, gas canisters or heavy batteries to worry about. Just 4 small AA batteries last for days on end.
I find it funny how camping equipment tends to conform to pre conceived ideas. Lamps being one. Why do almost all lamps look like gas lanterns? The UFO is brilliant, so small and light, someone with a genuine new idea for a change.
My Trangia I have have had it for over 15 years used to be just me and old boyfreind back then then packed away for 7 years then taken out and fine. I use it to feed 4 with a Tupperware "cook box".
