I placed an order on 27 May and since then it has said that the order is 'Picking'. It says payment has been taken from my credit card. I have tried emailing their info address as stated on the 'Order Detail' page but I have had no response.
20 days is a long time to be "picking" judging from past posts they have a habit of taking orders and money for out of stock items so i reckon they are "picking" it from the suppliers
I've found Go Outdoors really good in-store and really rubbish online.In my case, just like yours, my order sat on “picking” for 2 weeks.I eventually managed to get out of the people at the end of the phone that a) they’d had a new till system that week and b) that there was only 2 people to process all the orders!I also found out that all the internet orders are picked off the shop floor of the Coventry store....a quick phone called to Coventry (answered straightaway!) gave me the answer I assumed, that they were out of stock...but the stock delivery was due in 2 days time.I then cancelled the web order, drove over to Coventry and collected them – saved myself the postage.
