good evening,

was wondering if anyone out there can recommend some good rock pegs. We are going to the lakes this year and have been advised to take some, however when I went online to buy some I was confused by the choice they seem to come in a vast array of sizes and prices.

HELP! (AGAIN!)

I'd advise you to go for the plain & simple all metal rock pegs. A lot of the modern ones have a plastic top & just aren't so strong as the older style ones.

I bought a pack of 20 metal rock pegs (21cm long) from Towsure last year for about £8 and have found them excellent.

I prefer the rock pegs with the threaded shank, and don't forget to take a small hammer.

When you put the pegs in, don't hit them hard, just use gentle taps to break through the stones.
