We have a Brenderup 1205s with an ABS lid and high sides...it's huge! BUT it means we can store all our kit, including canvas tent in the trailer in between trips, we can take everything we want, stored in a way that makes it easy to use on site and stick all our clothes in without worrying about it.
The boot is always full of camera gear and the fridge so everything else goes in Bob with lots of room to spare!
hi PigletandTigger
we have exactly the same trailer high sides and abs lid does the high sides make much difference to your MPG as we are hoping we dont have to use the high sides just the trailer and lid...

Sorry to be slow, we've been away....
It's a bit of a topical question...we took the trailer to France a few weeks ago, previously we've found that the enforced lower speeds have meant that our fuel economy has stayed fairly static. BUT when we came back from France the fuel economy had plummeted (from an expect 38/39 to 34)...we did 130kph on the French Autoroutes and we also had some problems with the way the car (SAAB diesel) was pulling so we're slightly of the opinion that we got some dodgy diesel which caused the problems...we also seem to have developed a bit of a turbo whine which may be affecting the fuel economy... but we're pretty sure that on the UK leg of the journey going out the fuel economy was about the same.
So...the real answer is dunno at the moment but we're off again in just over a week so in two and a bit weeks I'll update you.
However, the increased size of the trailer is fantastic, we found it much easier to pack and got everything in it with room to spare - I would recommend it.
RE Caddy trailers - shop around as Towsure are not the cheapest especially if you need it shipped to you.
There are companies out there who will be a little bit more expensive but then give you free 24/48hr shipping - I know I brought one from a company down in the South West (cant remember the name now)
HI we have a duuo trailer (do a google search) it stores inside itself, so only takes up 55cm depth in the garage so my SAAB and the trailer both fit in the garage.
I followed one of these up the Motorway on Sunday, it had the tiniest skinniest wheels I've ever seen!!!
Have a Brenderup 1150S. It's the only trailer I've owned personally, so nothing to compare it to; however, certainly no complaints - does everything I expect of it.
OK, i have the anssems GT 750 with extention sides, locking hard lid and roof bars, also bought the rear stabalisers so you can get in without it tipping over. All is aIuminum. It was in excess of £1000, but cheaper than the Brenderup (made by Thule) and could carry more weight than the 1205. I also liked it's flexability i.e. it's now very easy to have a basic trailer, or have the extention sides or have the hard box on.
The Brenderup trailers are very good, but the anssems swayed it for me due to cheaper price, more flexibility and weight capacity. Again, i stick all camping gear it it and leave on drive. It's lid is a hard lid with 2 locks fitted also have hitch lock and wheel clamp.
As regards fuel economy, this dips considerably. Think about it, you are towing up to 750kg.
