Hi
We've swapped our very old trailer tent for a beautiful new Montana 6 and are trying to decide on sleeping arrangements (had a foam mattress bed in the TT).
I've pretty much decided to splash out on aerobeds, the only question is whether to get one double or two singles. DH says two singles but he has a massive airbed phobia (years of sleeping on crappy airbeds at half inflation!). I think if these aerobeds are as good as people say they are then we should be OK with a double.
So, what do you do? One double or two singles???
Cheers,
Lu

IMHO it depends on the weight of the 2 people sleeping on it.
My hubby is alot heavier than me so sharing a double means that I sleep on top of a mound (or the airbed is pregnant and I am sleeping on its bump lol) and when I get off, he is almost on the floor.
We opted for 2 singles then put a double fitted sheet over them to keep them together.
But.... i have not tried an aero and it is possible that they distribute the weight better?

Typically two singles is wider than one double, so check the width of your pod before you go for two singles.

Agree with that, the Aerobeds are much wider than standard air beds, a single only just fits in my pods of my awning.

I would go for 2 singles, this way if one gets a hole in you still have one left to fight over to sleep on!

Thanks for all the replies.
Two doubles would be great but apart from the cost we only have two pods and the kids sleep in one.
It turns out that two singles would be two wide so it looks like the decision has been made for us!
Now all I need is for the weather to improve
