Hello all,
Has anyone tried a 'soft roof rack' (see link) and a roof bag for additional space. Only go a couple of weekends a year and dont want a trailer or roof box filling the garage.
Am about to buy one, unless you know better of course

I have recently bought a Carnopy roofsack I got the large one and was really surprised the amount of stuff you can get in it, weighed it as well and only 42kg in it, they are good for 50kg.
A good advantage is you can pack it beforehand and lift the whole lot onto the car, saves reaching on the roof to pack a roofbox, when not in use they are easily removed and pack up really small, there totally waterproof and have a good strong zip on them, I wasn't too sure about them before I bought it and was fully expecting me to send it back, was expecting some knaff thin canvas bag but they are really strong.
PS - not tried the soft roof racks, don't think I would trust them and I certainly don't like things rubbing against the paintwork on my car
