sorry, just couldn't work out how to attach the flag properly.
I bought a 5m flag pole, a groundstake and a pair of bungees .
The stake went in fine, the pole sat on top, no problem, tied a guyline around the bottom section to steady it.
But how do you attach the flag?
The bungee thing was just an elastic ring with a bobble on it. There was a tiny loop on top of the pole , too small for the bungee to thread through, so we used a bit of fishing line to tie the top ring of the flag on the loop, and the bungee on the bottom ring of the flag.
put the bungee through the hole in the flag, then wrap round the pole, then wrap the elastic round the bobble a few times. i have a 10 mtr pole. and the flag dosent side anywhere, up or down

That's the way to do it
use both bungees, the ring at the top of the pole is for attaching a windsock
I thread a cable tie through the loop on the top of the flagpole and through the top hole in the flag then I put another one through the hole in the bottom of the flag and secure it round the pole, I also wrap a piece of insulating tape over the cable tie to stop it moving upwards in the wind
