Hi, sorry bear with me....we're new to caravanning, learning as we go along!....On the pitches that you can have water connection do you need a special water pipe / connectors for caravans or are they ones that you can fashion yourselves??!!   Also any suggestions on where I can get these things from.

We have seen two, the push on type that Hozelock water hoses fasten to, like these: -

or those with a screw thread.  One of these adaptors covers both possibilities: -

Any caravan, hardware or garden shop will have them.
