We are going on our first long trip in August and wondered if anyone had an recommendations for a table and chairs. Space is at a premium.

We had one of those plastic/metal fold up picnic table affairs which finally gave up the ghost in May.  I hated it because it was tacky but used it regardless.  We are a family of 2 adults & 2 children (12 & 13) & although none of us are what you'd call petite we aren't massive either & felt it soon became too small & flimsy for us all. We won't be replacing it!  They take up a lot of room in the car & I appreciate it's nice to sit around a table but, on the odd occasion we left it at home, we didn't miss it.
