Want to buy around 4 of the plastic backed picnic rugs to provide extra insulation and comfort in the sleeping pods and main arae of my frame tent.
Who's selling these for the best price at the moment? Read on another thread that Tescos (boo hiss) were doing them for £2. is this stil the case and if so are they readily available?
If not, where else should I be looking? I live in a rural part of Someset anddon't have access to stores like Poundland but can get to Argos, Woolies, and Wilkinson's as well as Tescos, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons.

Thanks lunarjon but I think you've overlooked my comment about not being anywhere near a Pound Land

GOt some in Boyes for £2.99 each - nice plaid not loud but subtle and your normal size ones that fasten with velcro. Asda had some but they were £5 each - same thing
Think I saw some in woolies but not sure cos we'd found them in Boyes by then and stopped looking . Someone posted no too long ago tha they found some in the co-op for about £4 each - I think
Hope this helps

The poundland ones are tiny though only about a metre square. the tent carpet are just about the same as picninc rugs an a bigger scale and you just take them out and shake the mess off them too.
aldi had good size ones for £5.

I think you'll find you can't. No purchasing facility n their website. It's just there to promote offeres in their stores.
Online would defeat the object of being Pound Land as you'd end up paying more than the item in postage!
Anyway, thanks everybody. Looks like I'll just have to bite the bullet and fork out around £4 a piece.

Has the world gone mad - tent carpets???? We've camped for 15 years & never heard of those before - where do you plug in the vacuum cleaner if you don't have EHU!!!
P.S. Bought 2 folding camping chairs at Sainsbury's the other day & they were 25% off.

Managed to get to a Poundland at the weekend but in the end decided against their £1 picnic rugs as they are so small I would need twice the amount originally thought.
(However did buy some Sony alkaline batteries, a nice little aluminium LED torch and some bungees with carabina connectors)
Am going to forgo the picnic blanket under airbed solution and instead going to invest in some very nice fleece double blankets to go over the sleeping bags that are reduced to £3.99 in Rosebys

I saw some picnic rugs in Woolies the other day, they were the plastic backed ones that fold up and have a handle type thing sewn onto them.
I don't know what price they should have been but I think they were £4 or £4.50 in the sale.
I think but don't quote me that they were 300cm x 300cm so quite big.
