Does anybody know of any camping 'shops' around the East Devon area ie Exeter to Lyme Regis ? I'm not looking for a Millet's/Blacks but the sort of place I can get a water carrier/cooking tent etc.
- and Trago might be worth a look. They sometimes have some weird things there CLICKY If you are doing the place at Ashburton you might as well do Trago. They're only about 7 or 8 miles from each other
There isn't really much around here, there was a chap who was based out at the farm shop at Kilmington (Axminster) a couple of years ago but I think he has gone.
I'd take off to Taunton, as said there is Taunton Leisure on East Street (not big though) and as a better bet Somerset Camping on the A38. If you get brave then head up the M5 to Highbridge where you'll find Highbridge camping and caravans and a big outdoor exhibition from Taunton Leisure.
Thanks for all the suggestions - I work opposite Rainbows so will try there ! But will also go up the A38 to Somerset Camping and if no joy then down to Ashburton (but heard that's a bit expensive) and also Trago (which isn't !)
Hi again, the tent man is again at the farm shop at Kilmington, I think the farmshop is called Millers Farmshop and it's just on the main road as you drop down towards Axminster. It's quite obviously if you're coming out of Axminster but less so from the other way.
When we visited it a couple of years ago he had a good range of Vango tents, was a nice guy with a good product range.
