I have just got myself a campingaz bottle from the tip. It has a metal triangular loop on the top that appears to be screwed into the top of the bottle. Is this all I need to be able to exchange it for a refill ?
Hi Robertrabbit, sounds like it is the sealer which is used when not connected to an appliance, you will be able to exchange the bottle with this attached, some places charge a few extra quid if it is missing.
Just a quick update. Yes, they did exchange it for a full bottle. So I can confirm that a quick trip to the tip can indeed save you approx £36 of the deposit on a bottle !
