No doubt it will get you around but for a little extra i would go for a Tomtom one. I think thats the cheapest Tomtom. I use a Tomtom 730T for my work and i've had most makes of sat/nav but find Tomtom just out in front of the others.. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. Think of updates too.

We got a navman s70 with a big discount voucher. (all our catalogue accounts are "sorry that they haven't heard from us" and keep sending 25% off codes. !!!) I also went for a brand that specialise in navigation. Its worth spending a little extra for future piece of mind.
I'm not sure about this, but the software brand on the sat nav should be able to give update supports. Teleatlas is the big one. I'd check this out first.
If you're anything like us, we only use it for general guidance and ignore ours most of the time but it does have "back on track" and re routes us. I think this is the most important feature to check on any value sat nav.
Hope this helps.

we've just been to ireland with inlaws who have a garmin satnav. we used maps, and everytime we got where we wanted to be before they did and with less mileage too.
i would given the choice go for a tomtom. we did however sell our navman last year after it kept sending us the wrong way hence maps!
Interesting subject, I have a Navman ICN 530 and went to buy an udated map and found the Navman.com website saying that maps and accessories for the following models are longer available which I am quite pee'd off about!
So it just goes to show that you can't trust even the bigger specialist names in the Industry and it must be a plan to get everyone to buy a newer model! Well, when I do buy a new one I'll go for the trusted old tomtom.
Just thought I'd share that comment
