Any advice on the the metal 'lift' type of caravan leveller? We have an Abbey Vogue 215.

They are OK on hard ground, but sink into soft surfaces. I use leveling blocks (motorhome style) Pull my van up onto that and chock the wheel before comeing off the towbar. Then of course you have to use blocks under the steadies one side. Put me off the wheel jack system when I saw them being used on a site and he had to keep adjusting it because of sinking into the ground, and that was on a fairly hard surface.------------- Sue & Bob

we have a thin piece of wood and put underneath,the tyres and the levellers sit on them, but have never had any problems with ours, and never had to keep adjusting,,m hubby got a bigger ratchet and i can level the can on my ouwn, very easy to use
