Hi all.
Well I have just found my answer to damp cold feet on the camp site.
And once again it comes from the specialist anglers who really like the best.
Gust Google Bivvy Slipper.

My children have been wearing these for years when they play in the river - we call them river shoes - don't know what the proper name is. Aldi had some in the other week for a few pounds and our local camping shop sells them for £5 in the canoe section.

I have a pair of slipper type shoes just like them that i got from a shop at the seaside. I use them to make sure i don't stand on anything in the sea. Great idea for your tent etc. I use mine in the lake district too
Heres your bivvy slippers
Heres my beach shoes good idea that
almost the same eh?

We've been using the same thing too Delta...In fact we have a few pairs each and They are great for wearing in the shower and reduce the chance of slipping. I think we paid a fiver for them..!
Sam Coleridge - I have a pair of mucking out wellies that finish just above my ankle. Maybe you could look in at your local equestrian supplier or online for some? They are perfect for damp mornings. Not very fetching though with my pink pj bottoms first thing of a morning, but no change there then!
Sam I've got some Merrells a bit like that. I loved them for a summer but they got seriously smelly. Kept washing them but they are lurking at the back of a cupboard now. Yours will probably be OK. My feet do get very hot and ...... (not too much information I hope).
My Merrels were pretty pungent straight out of the box - i suspect they'll need a good dunking in the sea before I let them in the tent - I don't know if it's the antibacterial technology they use.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
