I read a post yesterday about Argos inflatable chairs v Coleman and as it's too late to order any of the Coleman ones, we've decided to plump for these. The reason I'm getting inflatables at all is the old old 'need the space' scenario. We've now added a Sunncamp Day tent to our ever growing list (brilliant by the way) and need to make room for it in our 'ickle' car. Am I wasting my money? Cheers folks!
Make sure you've got a repair kit with you. All those twigs and sharp pebbles in the campsite could do some damage.
I always take a couple of folding chairs like the ones Argos sell. They don't take up that much room in the car (even when I was going camping in my VW Polo).
I thought I might put a picnic rug underneath them to hopefully protect from things that could puncture....? I don't really want to get any more chairs - we have 2 perfectly good ones already. Oh now I'm torn... decisions decisions
You said it's the 'need the space' but you are already having to take an extra blanket to put under them and a repair kit..Plus the chairs..Don't see them takling up much less space in the long run..!
Repair kit is in the tent bag and the picnic rug is flat as a pancake! I wouldn't be taking the chairs AND the inflatables - unless I've misread your thread. The inflatables would be to replace the chairs. Doesn't matter anyway - just got back from Argos and despite me having reserved them they're not in stock! Hey ho. Saved me some money though I suppose.
