Earlier this year we bought one of these awnings to use for moving around in France. Our problems were that: (1) erecting/dismantling the awning was nothing like the "2 minutes" claimed. (2) we could not get the thing packed away with the poles still fitted; we had to pack these separately. (3) being only normal height - 5'-6" max. and in our early 70's, we found it difficult to reach the storage pouch, even with the step, and holding our arms up for a lengthy time was not possible. (3) the recommendation to use steps is not practical due to storing (weight/room) and could be hazardous on uneven ground.
The reply to my e-mail from New Frontier leisure (replying for PDQ) said that it was up to customers to confirm suitability before purchase; very difficult when there is no way to make a physical assessment. They also inferred that being of small stature was our problem.
The message is, really, we've got your cash and you have no chance to get it back. To anyone not over six feet tall, and not extremely fit and/or of retirement age, I would strongly advise them not to invest in this awning.
We should have taken our Trio combi, and that's what we will do in the future. The PDQ will probably go to the local tip; quite expensive for a "one-off" experience.
Hi i also had 1 but asit leaked at the seems etc i retured it and got a refund no problem i got my 1 from caravan stuff 4 u and would recomend them to anyone.

2 tops how much do you want for it b4 you chuck it away as a friend of mine needs some spare parts?
Everything is in good condition, apart from the fact that it suit our degree of fitness. Don't expect to get anything like we paid for it, but open to a fair offer.
i dont know mate name your price
Well, for a ball park figure, I don't expect to get any more than half what I paid for it, which equates to about £90.
Obviously, I'll hang on for a time to see if I can find anyone interested but, if it's still around in six months or so's time, then it will just have to go regardless.
What size is the awning I have just been looking at PDQ2's and there seems to be 2 sizes 3-5 m and 2-5 m. I could be intrested if lunarjon isn't . You can email me at claireukcampsites at hotmail.com change the at to the icon.

Hi, Claire.
Answered your e-mail, but if it did not get to you, the PDQ is 3.5 metres and it is green.
