I know the feeling!!! I have a simple scheme. Put a pound or two in a piggy bank every week and forget about it! You will be surprised how it can build up over the months giving you a reserve to buy the unexpected bargains or pay for the inevitable repairs that always occur when money is at its tightest

The better half got h self down to woolies today and picked up a real bargain 12v coolbox reduced from £59.00 to £10.00..one time I dint' mind her going shopping lol

We've just been to the one near us and I've now finished my equipment shopping for our first camping trip (we go this Saturday). I came home with:
A mirror with a back like a picture frame so you can stand it up - £1.74
A windbreak (the seaside type) - reduced from £9 to £3 and
8 x foam backed travelling rugs reduced from £9.95 to £2 each - I'm planning to put one in each bedroom under the airbeds and four side to side in the living area to make a carpet.
Now my shopping's all done we're all very excited, just hope the weather improves.

It's handy having a birthday coming up . I needed (well wanted according to my OH) a weekend tent. This fits the bill and after research on other sites has a HH of 3000mm so is more waterproof than my other tent. I know my birthday is over a month away, but it's available now!
