We have a Cabana frame tent with aluminium poles.A couple of the poles have bent, but the rest of the tent is fine, so I think it would be worth getting them repaired.
Does anyone know of a company that does these repairs.
I've tried Googling but haven't got very far, as most of the companies now only deal with fibre glass poles.
I would say try a blacksmith but don't really know if aluminium can be glowed and then bended or if it would just break. Why not replace those alu-poles with some new ones? I'm sure they're out there at outdoor shops.
Maybe, from this link they can help you further? Good luck!
if it is a cabanon tent then you should have no problem getting replacment poles
here is what the website says
"Should it be just the odd pole that you need then, as we manufacture all our own frames, we are able to supply to order any frame-work for models from 1970 to the present day."
I've just called my local camping shop (why didn't I think of that in the first place?) and they do repairs, but having read that I might think about replacing them if possible. thanks again.
