We bought one of these and it's ideal for putting the suitcase stove on for boiling the kettle and cooking and playing cards on at night (or putting childrens drinks on so they don't spill all over the floor!!).
My only problem with it is the feet are very sharp and when used inside the tent I'm affraid of them piercing the ground sheet.
Does anyone know if they make any kind of rubber feet to put on the bottom or have some suggestion of how to do some kind of diy job?
We have the double roll up table too and love that - it's got coated feet (got it about 8 yrs ago for the caravan awning and don't remember it being £40 then - or I wouldn't have bough it!!).
I will be watching this thread with interest cos I've just bought the same table and have found the same problem! Been trying to think of a solution but haven't come up with anything yet.
We did resort to putting it on a rubber car mat (few ££ cheap one from Halfords) but will no doubt forget at some point so need something permenant - I suppose we could cut up a rubber mat and superglue bits to the sharp leg ends
If you get a piece of tube/ hose pipe, 1' should do it, cut into four pieces, slice a slit on one side of each piece of pipe , and put onto each foot, job sorted.
