my campingaz 24L electric coolbox packed in after 4 years. im wanting a new one. i need it to plug into the mains electric. ive been looking at the ones at gooutdoors online, the outwell ones for £29.99. does anyone know if they come with mains connections or do they need a transformer(sold seperately)? my last one cost over £60 without transformer. or can anyone recommend one? thanks in advance.
I have the 29.99 Aldi one and used it non-stop for 22 nights camping in France this year. It was great. Only thing is, like someone on here has said before, the lid doesn't really stay up by itself when you are rummaging around. SOOO much better than an ordinary coolbox (especially when your camp site doesn't have a block refreezing facility like our second site didn't).
well i got one. went to gooutdoors and got the one irnbru recommended.paid £29.99. tried it and it seems ok. i measured it at the side of the camping gaz one, but there wasnt any difference. only difference was the price £45 and £12 for transformer. so £57 in all. think i made the right choice. thanks for all your help
