Hi folks my first post here so HELLO to all, I know there is a section on EHU but I couldn't find the info I needed so apologies for posting it out of the section
I have all the hook up parts Cable etc but I need to buy the part shown and can't seem to find one anywhere only complete set ups it would be a waste to throw away what I have
As far as I am aware they are manufactured as a complete assembly. You can buy the complete assembly at a greatly reduced price of around £50, whereas if you were to buy just the enclosure with MCB and RCD you probably have to pay the list price making it uneconomical.
Agreed, TAM leisure have one on their site for a penny under fifty quid: the cable and plug are worth pennies, the real cost to manufacture is in the RCD/MCB. Another salient point is even if you did find one, fitted it and there was a problem which caused a fire/accident etc., it might get a bit interesting with the site owners/third party if they found out the hook up was a 'homebrew'. Not denigrating your DIY skills but something to consider in this litigious age.
Thanks for the replies, canvasquivers no offence taken at all, I think as all suggested I will just buy a new one and then as you say it will be safest all round.
